We are looking for a highly competent and motivated individual to perform the role of manager for our Japanese Restaurant at Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
• Staff Supervision- Recruitment, training and development of all staff.
• Updating knowledge of Japanese Food and Sake
• Quality and Service- Responsible for ensuring the dedication of all Floor & Bar Staff to the concept of quality, bright and helpful service.
• Customer Service and Food & Beverage Delivery- Monitoring the food and beverage being delivered, ensuring food standards are met.
• Restaurant Presentation, Maintenance and Safety- Over looking all staff presentation, controlling ambiance of the restaurant.
• Restaurant Sales- Ensuring the restaurant standards are high enough to ensure repeat business and development of Marketing strategies
You must have:
• Proven experience working as a Restaurant Manager
• Professionalism; Strong work ethic and positive culture
• Great management skills and customer service skills
• Experience in staff supervision, ability to establish and maintain good relationship in the workplace
• An understanding of Japanese cuisine would be desirable
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on management style;
• Have the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
• A valid RSA for NSW
• Fluent English/ Good English conversation skills is essential
• Japanese Speaker preferred but not a must
