CHEFS all Levels - Full time/ Part time
$70,000 – $95,000 per year
Tajima Yakiniku offers an authentic Japanese BBQ using the freshest and finest produce.
We are currently looking for experienced chefs who have:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience (in Japanese restaurants preferred)
* Well developed knife skills and strong knowledge of meat
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Your duties will include:
* Cutting meat and preparing ingredients for cooking
* Executing recipes
* Receiving and storage of stock
* Adhering to OH&S regulations and procedures
* Maintaining a hygienic and safe workplace
* Working cohesively in a kitchen team
Additional Skills and Experience for leader role:
* Can inspire and motivate fellow workers.
* A strong knowledge of kitchen operations
* Outstanding communication skills
* Leadership skills that are second to none
